The DOL reported:
In the week ending December 21, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims were 219,000a decrease of 1,000 from the previous week’s unrevised level of 220,000. The 4-week moving average was 226,500, an increase of 1,000 from the previous week’s unrevised average of 225,500.
