California’s rich harvest of pot shops

It’s a no-no to run a pot shop in Fresno (no surprise), but there are some 800 dispensaries in Los Angeles and nearly 40 in Sacramento. While hardly exhaustive in detail, this Associated Press article takes a statewide angle on the issue of communities attempting to either regulate medical marijuana dispensaries or ban them altogether, as Fresno did.
